In the next of our quarterly LLG procurement lawyers’ meetings, Kieran McGaughey and Alice Rowland will be joined by Anja Beriro, a Partner at Browne Jacobson. Anja will be looking at the thorny issue of conflicts of interest during procurement processes – what the current law requires, and what the future might hold under the new proposals in the Procurement Bill.
In the recent case of Consultant Connect (the UK’s first contract shortening order) a significant conflict of interest arose, and was not addressed by the authority. As such, this session is highly topical and a must attend for all those advising their Council (and others) on procurement law matters. We look forward to seeing you there!
