LLG Legal Training Terms and Conditions for bookings

Refunds & cancellations

Online training courses

  • Refund of fees will be made less an administration charge of £25 + VAT per place for cancellations or transfers received in writing to bookings@llg.org.uk at least two working days before the course date. This is not inclusive of the course date.
  • If a transfer is requested with less than two working days’ notice, the booking may be transferred to any alternative course (dependant on availability). LLG will invoice the booker should a delegate be transferred to a course of higher value. No refunds will be provided if transferred to a course of lesser value.
  • For bookings cancelled with less than two working days’ notice, exclusive of the course date the course fee remains payable and is non-refundable.
  • Delegate substitutions will be accepted at any time at no additional cost. Only confirmed pre-booked delegates will be admitted to the online course room. LLG reserve the right to confirm the identities of the delegates on the course and remove those who are not confirmed as attending. The sharing of joining links will not be tolerated. In the event of a group booking, LLG must be notified of all delegates intending to attend the training course to enable identification.

Online conferences

  • Refunds of fees will be made less an administration charge of £25 + VAT per place for cancellations or transfers received in writing to bookings@llg.org.uk at least two working days before the conference.
  • If a transfer is requested with less than two working days’ notice, the booking may be transferred to any alternative course. LLG will invoice the booker should a delegate be transferred to a course of higher value. No refunds will be provided if transferred to a course of lesser value.
  • For bookings cancelled with less than two working days’ notice, the course fee remains payable and is non-refundable.
  • Delegate substitutions will be accepted at any time prior to the commencement of the conference at no additional cost.
  • Delegates may attend another course of equivalent value free of charge, provided at least two working days’ notice is provided.
  • Only delegates will be admitted to the online conference room. Sharing of joining links will not be tolerated. In the event of a group booking, LLG must be notified of all delegates intending to attend the conference.

Spring & Governance conferences

  • Remissions of fees will be made less an administration charge of £25 + VAT per place for cancellations received in writing to bookings@llg.org.uk at least 14 days’ notice before the conference.
  • Residential conference bookings/delegates cannot be transferred onto alternative courses or conferences without prior written confirmation at LLG’s absolute discretion, and not less than 10 working days before the conference start.
  • For bookings cancelled 14 days or less (by 5.00pm) inclusive of the conference date, the conference fee remains payable in full and is non-refundable.
  • Delegate substitutions will be accepted at any time prior to the scheduled start of the conference at no additional cost providing that the substitute delegate is to attend the same event (including day and time).
  • In the event of a group booking, LLG must be notified of all delegates attending the conference in writing to bookings@llg.org.uk at least 72 hours in advance.
  • Daytime catering is provided during residential conference. This consists of a buffet lunch, and it is provided on all-day conference. This includes vegetarian and vegan options.  We will always look to accommodate specific dietary requirements where we have been informed of these at least 10 days before the conference. Please note that whilst LLG will liaise with the venue and make every effort to ensure provision of specific dietary requirements, the venue remains liable for adherence to all regulation in that regard and LLG cannot be held responsible for any loss arising or personal injury suffered. Delegates with allergies must make themselves known to the venue and request allergy information. Those with serious allergies are requested to speak with the venue manager and chef to ensure confidence in the provision of their food at least 10 working days prior to the event.    

Course and conference admission details

Booking confirmation emails are sent directly to the delegate upon booking.

All online training, online conference and residential conference admission emails containing relevant joining/attendee instructions will be issued directly to the delegate prior to the event. Please note, we use the Zoom platform for training purposes. 

If you have not received your admission email 48 hours before the relevant course or conference, please contact bookings@llg.org.uk

Presenters, authors and LLG will not accept responsibility for loss occasioned to any person or persons arising from any reliance; including but not limited to reliance on any content for the purposes of giving advice to third parties.

Material variations

All course and conference programmes will be revised and updated in line with changes in legislation and new court decisions. It may be necessary for reasons beyond our control to change the contents and timing of the programme, the speakers, the date or the venue.

In the unlikely event of the course being cancelled by LLG Legal Training at any time, we will make a full refund but disclaim any further liability.

Please note:  Some of our courses and conferences are open to local authorities and public service staff only.

Membership Plus  

The privileges and benefits associated with free access to LLG’s online day conferences are contingent upon the prompt payment of your annual subscription fees. In the event that your annual subscription fee remains unpaid, LLG Enterprises retains the right to apply the standard full conference fee to any non-compliant members attending our online one-day conferences. 

LLG Inspire Programme  

By enrolling in the LLG Inspire Programme, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions: 

Once enrolled, LLG Inspire Programme participants are committed to the full duration of the programme. There is no provision for withdrawal during the programme period. 

A standard 28-day refund policy is applicable from the date of enrolment. Should you choose to cancel within this period, a refund will be processed, but access to program resources and content will be revoked immediately upon refund approval. After the initial 28-day period, no refunds will be granted. Participants are responsible for the full program fee regardless of usage or participation. 

All program materials, resources, and content provided by LLG Inspire are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Participants are strictly prohibited from copying, distributing, or providing access to these materials to any third parties, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes. 

By enrolling in LLG Inspire, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring the integrity of our program and resources. 

Payments
 
VAT invoices, or relevant receipts will be issued to the booker, for passing to the relevant Finance Department.

LLG Enterprises Limited is a VAT Registered (No 826 9705 94). Company in England and Wales (No 5127694).

All payments are due 30 days from the invoice issue date.

Cheques are payable to 'LLG Legal Training'.
 
Payments can also be made via the LLG Online Portal and by phone. If you wish to pay us direct please contact us for further information.

LLG reserve the right to charge a late payment charge of 10% gross for each 30 calendar days of late payment. You will be notified if a late payment fee is being charged.
