LLG are delighted to host our next Adult Health & Social Care National Lead meeting featuring guest speaker Simon Lindsay, Partner at Bevan Brittan within the Health, Care and Regulatory Law team.
Simon will be discussing the Mental Health Act Bill with the Government publishing a draft Mental Health Bill for pre-legislative scrutiny, to modernise the Mental Health Act for the 21st century.
Simon is a partner in the Health, Care and Regulatory Law team, with a special interest in mental health and mental capacity law, as well as clinical negligence claims and inquests. He provides advice and support to health and social care organisations in relation to inquests, court of protection matters, challenges to treatment decisions, safeguarding concerns, complaints, health and safety and human rights issues.
