LLG Employment National Lead Meeting

LLG are delighted to share that LLG's first Employment Law National Lead Meeting of 2025 will be on Monday 20th January, from 12-1pm. 

For this session we will be joined by Laura Welchew, from our corporate partners Trowers & Hamlins.

The training will cover an overview of whistleblowing – who is protected, what is a qualifying disclosure and when it is protected, and the impact on an employer of a whistleblowing claim.  We will consider the proposed introduction of a new category of protected disclosure in respect of sexual harassment under the Employment Rights Bill and give a quick overview of sexual harassment.  Finally we will discuss recent case law, and some whistleblowing cases which are due to be heard by the Court of Appeal later this year.
