Patricia Narebor, our LLG London Regional Director is delighted to be hosting an in-person meeting on Friday 20th June to provide an opportunity for networking and key issues that colleagues wish to address in London.
The meeting will be hosted at the offices of Trowers & Hamlins who will also provide highlights on the impact of the Supreme Court judgement on the case For Women Scotland and guidance issued by the EHRC. The English Devolution White Paper and the impacts of local government reform on London will also be addressed.
Representatives from London authorities are welcome to attend breakout sessions as part of special interest groups to discuss key topical issues.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Amardeep Gill, Head of Public Sector will host a talk about the Devolution Bill and Local Government Reform.
Devolution - General Overview – Devolution in London as part of Local Authority re-organisation. There are no firm proposals for London but lawyers in London should be aware of the general themes being discussed / considered in the sector.
Rebecca has specialised in employment law for 20 years. She is known for her down to earth and solution driven approach. Rebecca advises daily on the wide range of employment issues that arise. Rebecca acts for a wide range of clients including those in the public, private and third sector.
Rebecca has particular experience in advising on TUPE; large scale redundancies and new restructures; changing terms and conditions of employment; dealing with unions; equal pay issues; regulatory issues such as HMRC and senior executive departures. Rebecca regularly advises and represents clients in respect of employment tribunal claims and has recently dealt with complex claims involving whistleblowing and discrimination.
National Head of Public Sector, Amardeep is a recognised expert advising all levels of government, public bodies and UK and international businesses on transformation and business critical projects including joint ventures, public/private partnerships, complex supply chain arrangements, regulatory matters and large-scale procurement exercises.
He has extensive experience across a range of sectors including digital technology, leisure, transport, health, logistics waste, major events, housing, education, outsourcing, regeneration and aviation.
