LLG Planning National Lead Meeting

Register for LLG's upcoming Planning National Lead meeting where we will be joined by Rory Stracey from our corporate partner Trowers & Hamlins.

In this session Rory will be covering the following: 

• Biodiversity Net Gain: The Government recently responded on how it intends to implement mandatory BNG following consultation responses. Rory will cover the core requirements of BNG as set out in the Environmental Act 2021, and look forward to what we can expect from the forthcoming regulations in light of the Government's response to the consultation. Rory will consider what the challenges and opportunities there are for local government.

• New infrastructure levy: The Government has recently launched a technical consultation on the proposed new levy to replace CIL. Rory will explore the proposals, and consider the challenges and opportunities that arise from the proposed reform.
