In the next meeting of the LLG procurement lawyers' group, we will be looking at social value in procurement law. Our Procurement National Lead Kieran McGaughey is delighted to be joined by guest speakers from our corporate partners Weightmans LLP for this session.
They will be looking at the law as it stands and the boundaries of the current regime, and also what looks set to change under the Procurement Act (anticipated to come into force in October next year). As always, there will be the opportunity to ask questions of the speakers and share your insights with your local authority peers. With many Councils increasingly keen to maximise the social value outcomes from their procurement processes, this is a session for their in-house advisors which is not to be missed!
