The Golden Thread is the information that those responsible for Higher Risk Buildings are required to collect and maintain during their construction and in-occupation phases. It is the information that allows you to understand a building and the steps needed to keep the building and people safe, now and in the future. This is a requirement of the Gateway 3 sign off and is likely to come into force in October of this year.
