LLG are delighted that our next webinar will be taking place on Wednesday 16th October from 12pm -1pm. Rachel Newman & Melodie Thompson from our corporate partners Bevan Brittan will be our guest speakers on the day.

Rachel Newman, Senior Associate

Rachel is an employment and immigration specialist advising a range of clients including employment agencies, care providers, airlines and a range of manufacturers. Rachel began her career representing claimants in a range of employment related claims before moving onto respondent work.

Rachel has worked with a wide range of clients including, but not limited to, employment agencies, care providers, airlines and a range of manufacturers.

Melodie Thompson, Associate

Melodie is an employment specialist predominantly advising respondents from a range of sectors including local authorities, NHS bodies, housing associations, higher education organisations, NHS trusts, charities, and corporate entities in respect of both contentious and non-contentious matters.

Melodie supports and advises clients on all aspects of the employment relationship including handling disciplinary or grievance processes; defending tribunal claims; discrimination; whistleblowing; employment status (including off-payroll working rules also referred to as IR35); and restructures and redundancies
