The recent procurement case of Consultant Connect Ltd v NHS Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board & Ors [2022] EWHC 2037 (TCC) (29 July 2022) (bailii.org) has gathered significant attention. It is thought to be possibly the first ever contract shortening order awarded in the UK courts.
In this session, we will be joined by guest speakers from our corporate partners Trowers & Hamlins, who will highlight some key lessons for Councils arising from this case. Following this there will be the chance to discuss the case with your peers at other authorities, and ask questions in the usual way. The session will be hosted by our national lead team Kieran McGaughey (Newcastle City Council) and Alice Rowland (Brighton & Hove City Council).
