The forthcoming Procurement Act is big news for local government procurement lawyers. However, there is still plenty happening under the current legal regime. In this Lawyers in Local Government procurement lawyers' meeting, we'll be looking at some recent procurement cases. Our procurement national lead team Kieran McGaughey and Kevin Carter are delighted to be joined by two expert speakers from our corporate partners Womble Bond Dickinson:
- Deborah Ramshaw, Partner and Head of Procurement
- Richard Collins, Partner specialising in commercial litigation
Deborah and Richard will be analysing recent cases such as Optima V DWP, where a bidder challenged their rejection for non-compliance. They'll be offering their key takeaways on the implications for local authority procurements.
As always, there will be plenty of opportunity to comment and ask questions. We look forward to seeing you and colleagues there!
Deborah heads up our procurement team and is well regarded for her pragmatic and commercial advice.
