Isabelle Alajooz is the Legal Manager and Deputy Monitoring Officer at North Herts Council, with a wealth of experience in housing law and regeneration. She has worked for prominent organisations such as Shelter Legal Services, leading on complex housing litigation and policy initiatives. Isabelle has also contributed to significant legal efforts related to housing crises, including involvement in the response to the Grenfell Fire tragedy. At North Herts, she has spearheaded high-profile legal projects, including municipal contracts, commercial property acquisitions, and the creation of council-owned companies to manage housing stock. Driven by a commitment to ethical governance, diversity, and innovation, Isabelle aims to utilise technologies like AI to enhance housing and regeneration initiatives across local authorities.
