Firstly, I would like to express how proud and excited I am to step into the role as your President for the next 12 months. It is a privilege to continue to work upon your behalf to fly the flag for our sector!

Over the last 7 years I have worked with the Company, I have both witnessed, and been part of, its continued development and evolution. It is truly a positive transformation and we certainly have made our presence known in the quarters that need to hear our stories and serve our needs.

Ultimately, we are committed to the service of our communities and orbit this space in our respective roles whether that be safeguarding our vulnerable people, transforming our local economies, raising living standards by securing good quality accommodation, assisting the delivery of housing or generating revenue through our companies. The list goes on…. This is the contribution we make and we should all be proud to stand in the light it radiates.

Against this backdrop, I am very much looking forward to embedding the following 5 themes for my tenure: Front and Centre; Embracing our family; Future first, Sharing the joy and Wide reach. These themes build upon and elevate the stellar work we are already doing in line with our strategic plan.

I hope to bring forth a much more visible and interactive Board as ultimately we are here to serve your interests so always welcome a conversation, thoughts, contributions and a friendly chat.

Lastly a little bit about me then. Well, I am crazy about running, a pursuit I took up during lock down when we were all climbing the walls! I am running my first marathon on 23rd April #London Marathon (crumbs…). Aside from this, I also love cycling and will be participating in the Ride London event in May followed by my first triathlon in June - if I make it out alive. I also find joy in travel, cooking and am heavily involved in lots of local community based projects.
