Call for information: Supporting Councillors with Abuse and Intimidation

The LGA has launched a project looking at support for councillors experiencing abuse. We're calling for councils, police and political parties to share what they offer their councillors to help them manage risks associated with their role, prevention approaches, incident management and aftercare when an incident has taken place.

To contribute to the project, you can provide a short summary of what your organisation provides councillors, or send over relevant documents, policies, examples and case studies to Jessica.norman@local.gov.uk.

Your information will be used by the LGA to inform the project. No identifiable information will be published without checking the final content with the contributor first
