LGSCO Focus Report: Equal Access: Getting it Right for People with Disabilities

The Local Government & Social Care Ombudsman has published their report on Equal Access: Getting it Right for People with Disabilities.

This report highlights the experiences of people with disabilities, including hidden disabilities, when accessing council services. The Equality Act 2010 requires local services to make sure people with disabilities can access their service as easily as people without disabilities, and quite often this will involve councils making ‘reasonable adjustments’.
