LGSCO invites more open communication with Monitoring Officers

The Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman (LGSCO) invites you to sign up to directly receive important and useful communications about your individual authority, and about the sectors they investigate. 

Many of you are kept well informed about the LGSCO’s investigations, decisions and recommendations, however, the LGSCO would like to ensure you are directly sighted on important communications that support your role as Monitoring Officer to report upheld decisions to your Council. This would include their annual performance letter and annual data issued in July. The LGSCO will provide a summary of decided complaints regarding your authority during the year and, where warranted, reflect on their experience of your authority’s complaint handling performance.
