LLG supports Rachel McKoy's candidacy for Law Society Council Seat elections

Voting has now opened for the Law Society Council Seat elections for Local Government. We are mindful that this seat has only become vacant due to the untimely passing of Suki Binjal whom we miss terribly. We remember the vigour and passion she exhibited for our sector.

This is the first time this election has been independently administered by the Law Society, and LLG are delighted to officially support Rachel (our former President) in the Law Society Council Seat elections. Rachel comes with a demonstrable track record of experience in the sector and having held several senior positions on stakeholder bodies, is uniquely placed to represent the family of local government lawyers.

LLG endorse Rachel McKoy candidacy to champion our sector in an environment which is predominately representative of the private sector. Rachel has a great skill set to be the voice of our profession and uphold ethical conduct and governance. She is passionate about supporting others, building networks and connections.
