LLG Work Experience 2025 Deadline Extension – New Deadline 07 April 2025

Due to popular demand, we have decided to extend our Work Experience application deadline until 07 April 2025 – that’s a whole extra week!

This means another week to polish and perfect your application – ensuring that you are in a better standing to be selected.

Or, were you thinking that you only had a few days and were worried that you wouldn’t have time? Well, with this deadline extension, we’ve given you an extra weekend to dedicate to your application outside of studying and other commitments.

Not sure how to create a successful application? Here are a few pointers below:

• Make sure that your 500-word statement is well-structured and demonstrates why you should be selected for the Work Experience Week.
•  Give examples, when directed, that clearly display times when you have used skills that are necessary to local government. Ensure to use examples to evidence and emphasise your points.
• Record a vlog! That way you can stand out as you become more than an application as we can see you and find out more about you than we would with just the application alone.
• Get a second opinion on your application – use the people around you to read it for you, they might be able to pick up spelling or grammatical errors that you may not have spotted!
