LLG is kicking off 2025 with an exciting recruitment drive for new trainers to join our pool. We are expanding our training offering and are currently looking for experienced local government lawyers and professionals to join our team of expert trainers.

We are seeking applications from trainers with expertise in:

Committees
Children’s Services
Litigation
Procurement
Employment

If you have experience delivering training — whether internally within your authority or externally — this is your chance to contribute to the professional development of your peers.

Who we’re looking for
We’re seeking trainers who can deliver engaging, practical, and relevant content tailored to the needs of local authority lawyers. Your course will:

Be live and interactive, using the Zoom platform.
Include substantive legal content, such as legislation, case law, and regulations.
Feature supporting materials (slides, templates, case studies, etc.).
Offer interactivity through breakout groups, discussions, or exercises.

Course Formats
Full Day Courses
Roughly four hours of training delivered between 09:15 and 14:45, including breaks and lunch.
Half Day Courses
At least 2.5 hours of training delivered between 09:15 and 13:00, including breaks.
