This half day course is aimed at local authority officers who are involved in preparing and drafting traffic regulation orders. The course will provide attendees with a solid understanding of permanent, experimental and temporary traffic regulation orders. This will include the legislative framework, drafting and the statutory procedure to make traffic regulation orders. Attendees will look at the role of the traffic authority to help achieve traffic management objectives through restricting, regulating or prohibiting vehicular traffic or pedestrians.

Whilst in local government, her practice included regularly drafting planning and highway agreements, drafting traffic regulation orders, advising at planning and rights of way committees and representing her local authority at public local inquiries.
