Looking for fresh horizons for the New Year? Come and join our national award winning, LEXCEL accredited legal service, situated in the vibrant city of Brighton and Hove! We are looking for a housing litigation lawyer to join our friendly and experienced Litigation & Housing Team and help us build an excellent responsive service for our housing disrepair work. Salary range up to £48,474 PLUS £8,0000 market supplement, together with generous annual leave entitlement, local government pension scheme, and flexible working arrangements including hybrid, enabling some working from home.

About the role

You will advise housing disrepair cases but be willing to apply your skills to other forms of housing litigation. You will have the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge and work closely in a supportive team with experienced colleagues and clients to address this growing area of law.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only. Team and service working arrangements are designed to support both employee work life balance and team collaboration. These would be part of your individual working arrangements alongside any personal preference agreed with your manager in advance of joining. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team and travel to and from your contractual location would be at your own expense.
