Are you a qualified solicitor, barrister, or CILEX equivalent lawyer looking for a role that’s as rewarding as it is varied? We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and driven lawyer to join our friendly, supportive and fast-paced legal team in a litigation role.

In this role, you’ll manage a diverse caseload, including criminal court and tribunal litigation, advising Council departments, supporting the education team, attending regulatory committees and clearking school appeals. No two days are the same – you’ll enjoy intellectually engaging work, opportunities for regular court appearances, and the chance to make a difference and benefit the local community.

We are open to all levels of post-qualification experience but some experience of working within or for local government, particularly in Wales, is advantageous as well as experience in litigation or education law. However, training and support can be provided to the right applicant, so if you are a lawyer with transferable skills and a capable legal advocate who is highly organised and a team player with a flexible and helpful approach to delivering legal advice - please do apply! .

Welsh speaking and writing skills are desirable.
