Job Description:

Enfield, North London

Permanent Contract 24.5 to 35 hours per week

Office based, flexible working options available

We’re the award winning Lee Valley Regional Park Authority: a public body responsible for 26 miles of world class sports and leisure venues – including three London 2012 legacy venues which are open for everyone to enjoy – and thousands of acres of glorious open space. We stretch from the Thames through east and north London, through to Essex and Hertfordshire and attract over ten million visits a year from major international televised sports events to volunteer-led walks and school trips.

We’re a dynamic commercially driven, community focused organisation which has a 50 year track record of delivering for the people of the region.

We have a phenomenal track record of creating stunning leisure venues and regenerating derelict, neglected land to create this unique Regional Park.

We’ve never stood still and there are a host of exciting and challenging projects in the pipeline.

Reporting into our Head of Legal Services, you’ll act as the Authority’s principal legal advisor for all property law matters, supporting our Property Team in the management of our varied portfolio of commercial property and in the realisation of opportunities to improve and develop the Park. You’ll also be involved in advising on property matters in relation to the operational management of the Park.

To be considered for the post you’ll need a strong background in land and property including advising on development issues, and ideally will have experience working in the public sector or other organisation operating within a statutory framework. This position is based in offices at Myddelton House in picturesque Victorian gardens near Enfield but we can discuss flexible working arrangements with you.

Do you have the right blend of skills for this exciting role? Keen to join us? If so, please submit your CV and a covering letter stating the reasons you wish to apply for the position and how your experience relates to the role via email to jobs@leevalleypark.org.uk
