Job Description:
This is a key role within a busy legal services department and a calm, adaptable disposition is essential. You will be organised, conscientious and flexible and be able to work under pressure. You will be able and committed to work in a flexible manner including outside normal office hours when the role necessitates the same. You will carry a caseload of children’s safeguarding matters to include care proceedings, deprivation of liberty cases, inherent jurisdiction, adoption cases, pre-proceedings matters and general advice on all aspects of children law. The team operates a duty system for the client department and all team members participate in the rota for duty queries and legal planning meetings.
