We kick-start 2026 with our Monitoring Officer Induction Programme on the 8th. This is tailored specifically to the needs of MOs and DMOs and comprises a comprehensive blend of live and pre-recorded training sessions to prepare you for this challenging role. Online – Planning Committees, on the 15th, will provide delegates with a solid understanding of planning committees and decisions made by local authorities. This course is suitable for anyone who needs to understand the key aspects of planning committees including lawyers, planners and committee officers.
On the 20th we have Online – Political Awareness: How to Operate Effectively at the Interface with Elected Members. On the 30th Online – Navigating Freedom of Information Law, will provide delegates with a solid introduction to the complex area of freedom of information law. We begin with our Online – Elections Conference, on the 6th of February, focusing on the collaboration of local government professionals to explore the key challenges, developments, and lessons shaping election law and practice in 2026 and beyond.
Then, we have our Online – Adult Social Care Conference, on the 6th of March, a full day of learning with focused sessions allowing for thought-provoking discussion, practical takeaways and the opportunity to connect with colleagues across the country.
